つい最近まで猛烈に暑くてこのままじゃ熱中症になる

などと思っていたんですが

ここに来てがくんと気温が下がり

もう冬です。

秋口に着ようと思って買っていた

薄いピンクのトレンチコートと正統派ベージュのトレンチコート。

どちらも1、2回しか着ていません。

実際今はそのコートでは寒いんです。

真夏から真冬へ一気に移行です。

そもそも日本の詩歌の世界では雪月花が尊ばれてきました

しかし昨今この春や秋の雅なシーズンが、

時間的に減っています。

そして夏の暑さが厳しい。

さて今年の冬はどうなるでしょうか。

Until just recently, it was so unbearably hot that I thought I might get heatstroke.

But now, the temperature has dropped suddenly, and winter has arrived.

I had bought two trench coats to wear in the early fall: a light pink one and a classic beige one.

However, I only got to wear each of them once or twice.

Right now, it’s too cold for those coats.

It feels like we’ve skipped straight from summer to winter.

In the world of Japanese poetry, setsugekka—snow, moon, and flowers—has always been cherished.

But in recent years, these elegant seasons of spring and autumn seem to have grown shorter.

Meanwhile, the heat of summer has become more intense.

I wonder what this winter will bring.
