In the summer, when I bake bread, the temperature in the room where the bread maker is placed rises, which is troublesome. But on a cold day like today, it’s perfect.
The pleasant smell of freshly baked bread spreads through the room, and it makes me feel happy.
The bread maker is very convenient because it makes it easy to bake bread, but if I had to say something negative, it would be that it can only bake a small amount of bread at a time.
I wish I could bake a larger batch.
It’s been 10 years since I’ve only baked white bread.
Many people bake various types of bread, but I’ve only stuck to making regular white bread.
I’m thinking I should read the manual more carefully and try baking a different type next time.
But even so, it’s been over 10 years, and I’ve only baked one loaf of white bread.
My husband makes homemade jam.
He makes fruit-based jams, and we mainly eat them for breakfast with the bread.
As for store-bought jams, I like the mulberry jam from Karuizawa. The mulberries in Nakayama’s mulberry jam stay whole, making it very unique and delicious.
Similarly, I also enjoy Kobayashi’s mulberry jam from Karuizawa. The fruit in this one is more blended into the jam.
